Kiuchi Umeshu

This awarded Umeshu is a special liqueur made from sprits "Kiuchi no Shizuku" distilled from our famous Hitachino Nest Beer White Ale, infused with local green ume (unripe Japanese Sour Plum).

Ume contains a lot of natural citric acid, the resulting this Umeshu has a sweet, acidic, very refreshing taste that pairs very well with sushi, sea food, and oriental cuisine and you can also enjoy as an aperitif or dessert wine.

Shochu Kiuchi

Shouchu is a traditional distilled spirits in Japan. Each region has developed its own for over 500 years. Now Shouchu is variously characterized by the use of materials and methods of distillation. Shouchu is often drunk in straight, as well as on the rock. Its clean taste also works perfect in cocktails and infused drinks.

Rice Shochu 'KIUCHI' is distilled from the Sake-Kasu (white sake lees) of our refined Daiginjo Sake 'KIKUSAKARI'. This luxury Shochu has a complex flavor with pleasant rice aroma.

Kiuchi no Shizuku

Kiuchi no Shizuku, is an unique spirits distilled from our famous Hitachino Nest White Ale. The distillate is first matured in oak barrels with the addition of coriander, hops and orange peel for one month. More Hitachino Nest White Ale is added, and then product is distilled again to an alcohol content of 50% by volume. After the 2nd distillation, it's matured in oak barrels for another six months.

This interesting spirit is reminiscent of a Genever, with lovely malt notes, tart citrus fruit, spicy coriander and a light herbal quality. The finish is initially sweet, but dries out with notes of oak and woodsmoke.

Kiuchi Yuzu Wine

Yuzu is a citrus fruit native to Japan which has a distinctive aroma and flavor of lime, lemon, grapefruit and mandarin orange. The primary fermentation induced by the complex Yuzu fruit juice. Secondary fermentation supported by Yuzu fruit juice and starch syrup.

The flavour is a burst of bitter sweet Yuzu citrus and tangy acidity and lemony sharpness challenging all your senses.
